Solution Architecture and Design

We work with our enterprise clients to design RFID-enabled solutions which will allow them to take their business operations to the next level in performance and efficiency. We start by understanding our client’s business goals and current processes, and identify where to apply RFID for maximum advantage. RFID Global’s experts will walk in the shoes of our customers to see how their business works and anticipate any constraints that could impact the use of new technologies.

To aid us in determining your requirements, RFID Global will start by performing a Site Survey and Requirements Workshop or Business Process Analysis. Results of the Site Survey help us fully understand the requirements of our customers. Knowing how people do their jobs and visualizing how they could do their jobs better with the use of technology allows us to recommend the right solution. Understanding systems integration requirements allows our team to recommend a Solutions Architecture that is right for your business.

Sometimes this means creating application modules that leverage our Visi-Trac software platform; other times this means designing innovative products that simplify business processes and can easily be integrated across a customer’s enterprise. Examples of such solutions include Visi-Trac™ modules for healthcare asset tracking (HealthTrack), data center asset management (ServerTrack and DataGuard), and enhanced SmartCart™ and SmartTable™ designs.

It is RFID Global Solution’s commitment to continue to lead the industry with innovative solutions that enable us bring complete, turnkey solutions to our customers.

As a solutions provider, RFID Global focuses on the needs of our customers rather than selling technology. We ensure that the technology we recommend is what is needed to meet our customer’s needs without overburdening their operational processes. The adage of “keep it simple” are words that RFID Global lives by when looking to serve our customers. Ultimately, by keeping it simple we provide our customers with the optimal return on investment and the shortest implementation times.

The outcome of the Solution Requirements study is a Solution Design document (SDD) that serves as a blueprint for the proposed solution and any customization required. The blueprint clearly states the processes recommended for enhancement, the costs and the schedule for implementation.
