RFID Journal Live! 2019 Airline Bagging Tracking Conference Track

As the team that implemented Delta Airline’s baggage tracking program, we are proud to sponsor this session and look forward to sharing our experiences and lessons learned.

The workshop will feature Andrew Price, IATA’s head of global baggage operations, who will explain the organization’s requirements for baggage tracking by 2020, the benefit to airlines, and the practical steps airlines can take to start complying with the requirements. In addition, the session will feature a case study by Brandon Woodruff, Senior Analyst at Delta Air Lines, the first major airline to track baggage worldwide.

Additional sessions will help airlines learn how to evaluate RFID tags and readers for their applications, as well as how to deploy solutions to enhance customer service and improve the bottom line.

The conference will feature eight tracks, a co-located IEEE RFID 2019 event, the RFID Journal Awards, and fast-track RFID training and RFID Professional Institute certification. The event will also offer exhibits and demonstrations conducted by the industry’s leading technology firms.
